Mark Meyerdirk is the owner and Principal Broker of Urban Brokers.  Real estate was Mark’s life from a very early age.  In fact, it’s in his blood.  Both his grandfather and his mother passed down a love of the profession, inspiring him to become a third-generation Real Estate Broker. Mark is one of six children in his family and has lived in the DC Metro area most of his life. Having sold several hundred area homes and ranked consistently among the top 2% of Realtors in the nation in annual sales volume, Mark is among the most experienced real estate professionals in the metropolitan area.

Mark oversees the operations at Urban Brokers and supports and leads the firm's sales associates. Mark holds a Principal Broker license in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Mark was previously a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and a customer relationship management consultant for Roundarch, Inc.

Having supported both government and corporate clients, Mark was quickly able to transition to serving the needs of his real estate clientele ranging from first-time home buyers to experienced investors. With his degree in International Business from James Madison University and through years of experience as a consultant and Real Estate Broker, Mark has developed a keen business sense that allows him to successfully market homes for sale and negotiate sales contracts regardless of the complexities involved.

Outside of work Mark enjoys spending time with his partner Justin.  Whether it’s catching a movie at the Uptown in Cleveland Park, seeing a concert at the Verizon Center in China Town, or enjoying dinner at a new restaurant along the vibrant U Street Corridor, Mark and Justin love
living in Washington, D.C.  That said, whenever the opportunity presents itself, Mark and Justin also have a sweet spot for international travel.
