16th Street Heights is located a few miles north of downtown Washington and features a blend of Single Family Homes, Semi-Detached Homes, and Rowhomes built in the early 20th Century. Styles of architecture include Tudor, Federal, Victorian, and Spanish Revival. It’s an extraordinary neighborhood with easy public transit options along with 16th & 14th Streets and Georgia Avenue. The nearest Metrorail station is Georgia Ave/Petworth. A handful of businesses are located along 14th Street between Allison Street and Decatur. A favorite place of ours for breakfast is Highlands Cafe. The neighborhood also features the Upshur Pool and park located at 14th & Upshur Streets NW.
