After more than 10 years in the real estate industry, Monica knows how to get results. She is a licensed Assistant Broker in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Though inspired as a child by her mother’s successful real estate career, it wasn’t until decades later that Monica left politics to pursue her passion: helping families grow roots in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
Monica’s work on Capitol Hill fostered the communication skills and business acumen she uses to advocate for her Urban Brokers clients. After graduating from University of Maryland with a degree in political science, she worked for Congresswoman Connie Morella. She also spent time representing the interests of emerging biopharmaceutical companies for Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and acting as a regulatory analyst for the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA).
To jumpstart her switch to real estate, Monica worked for private home builders in the area. Before long, she had opened her own property management company to facilitate luxury condo rentals on Maryland’s burgeoning Eastern Shore vacation home market. Monica also worked with a variety of local and national real estate companies, including Coldwell Banker and Century 21, before joining Urban Brokers.
At Urban Brokers, Monica is able to use her extensive network and varied background to pursue the best possible sales for her clients. She is an expert at giving first-time buyers, sellers and investors a positive experience with the results they want.
